Pros

The Royal Free offers excellent training opportunities for junior doctors, with a structured programme and plenty of support from senior colleagues. The exposure to a wide range of medical specialties is invaluable. The Trust also has a strong focus on patient safety and quality improvement.

Cons

The rota can be quite inflexible, making it difficult to plan personal commitments. The canteen food could be better.

Pros

I've found the Royal Free to be a very supportive place to work, especially as a newly qualified nurse. The preceptorship programme is excellent, and there are plenty of opportunities to learn from experienced colleagues. The location is also great, with easy access to public transport.

Cons

Pay could be better, especially considering the cost of living in London. Finding affordable accommodation nearby can be a challenge.

Cons

The IT systems can be a bit clunky and slow at times. It would be nice to have more opportunities for flexible working.
